70m Nobiskrug Project Miza completes sea trials

The 70 metre Nobiskrug Project Miza has completed technical sea trials in the Baltic Sea after being spotted departing the Rendsburg shipyard last week.

The milestone was reached less than a year after Nobiskrug signed the contract to continue the build of the project. Also known as Project 795, the yacht is on track for completion early in 2023 and will be the first delivery by the shipyard since it restarted operations following a takeover in 2021.

Project Miza features both interior and exterior design from the boards of Winch Design. Her exterior is characterised by a flared bow and angular windows forward on the main deck. 

Onboard highlights include a generous sundeck with a counter-current pool, a large swim platform and a beach club with a wellness area. Pictures also suggest an aft deck pool and a tender garage in the bow. 

Key numbers include a beam of 12.4 metres, a draft of 3.6 metres and a volume of 1,900GT.

“This superyacht is designed to deliver long-range cruising with low noise and low vibration levels for exceptional comfort of everyone on board,” said Scott Wightman, who acted as the owner’s representative and construction supervisor throughout the build. “Additionally, the vessel has drop-down azimuthing thrusters with electronic anchoring capability to hold position in areas where you cannot drop the anchor.”

Project Miza joins a number of other Nobiskrug projects in the works, including the 77 metre Project black Shark and the 83 metre Project Orkan. The latter of the two was signed earlier this year and is expected to see delivery around 2026.
