On the heels of one of the buzziest weeks for the art and luxury industries, Miami Art Basel, Jacob & Co. and Alec Monopoly have just dropped the ultimate masterpiece. For the first time ever, celebrated graffiti artist Alec Monopoly has designed his first piece of jewelry in collaboration with Jacob & Co. — living to Jacob Arabo’s name of “Jacob the Jeweler.”
Limited to very few pieces, Monopoly and Jacob & Co. are introducing “Fly Me To The Moon” an exclusive 925 sterling silver pendant figurine of Monopoly’s most iconic characters finished with hand-applied enamel paint. The new pendant complements the existing timepiece designed by Jacob & Co. and Monopoly, the Astronomia alec Monopoly Tourbillon, which has become a legendary piece within the Jacob & Co. repertoire.
Marking a first for Monopoly as he explores new mediums for his inaugural piece of jewelry, the “Fly Me To The Moon” pendant is a true testament to the creative boundaries both Monopoly and Jacob & Co. succeed to push. The pendant will be offered in two sizes: the standard size measuring 3 cm high and limited to just 250 pieces, and the large size, which over doubles the standard at 7.5 cm, is limited to just 25 pieces.
Each “Fly Me To The Moon” pendant is housed in a custom-made Jacob & Co. box. that has been hand-painted by Monopoly, truly making the entire creation a work of art.
