Mercedes AMG SL 63, an explosive Motorsport Collectors Edition with 585 hp inspired by F1
In Stuttgart they decided to build only one hundred examples of the Mercedes AMG SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition, which should have a significantly higher price than the almost 210,000 euros needed for the standard version.
As anticipated, the aesthetics of the SL 63 refers to the W12 driven by George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in the 2022 season. The typical silver of Mercedes, in fact, fades into the black color that covers the entire rear area, where there is also a livery with the Mercedes logos. To embellish the supercar are the teal inserts on 21″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, side skirts and bumpers, which represent a tribute to Petronas, historical sponsor of the F1 Mercedes.
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition features AMG Performance Nappa leather seats with red or yellow contrast stitching, depending on the customer’s tastes. Also included in the equipment are carbon fiber moldings, Burmester sound system,head-up display, AMG Track Pace telemetry system and panoramic roof.
No news for the 4.0 V8 engine that confirms the 585 hp and 800 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h sprint of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h.
