Italian shipyard Vittoria Yachts has celebrated a major construction milestone on the build of its Veloce 32 RPH. The hull, which began construction on speculation last year, has now been turned and will be joined to the superstructure in the coming weeks.

First revealed at the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival, the 32-metre raised pilothouse model is under construction in Adria, just south of Venice, and is on track for a 2024 delivery.

The design comes from Hydro Tec  engineer Sergio Cutolo  and the yacht is being built in aluminium alloy and stainless steel. Top speeds will be 20 knots powered by twin MAN D2862 engines.

According to the yard, the lines are “fierce and contemporary” with the design “inspired by fast patrol vessels”. The project has been designed with a low-profile wheelhouse and raised gunwales to create a “masculine” and “imposing” look, while the plumb bow lends the yacht additional volume on the interior.

Accommodation is for ten guests in five cabins comprising a main deck owner’s suite and two VIP suites and two twin cabins located on the lower deck. Crew quarters for a team of six are found forward.

The yacht has a maximum beam of 7.2 metres, and the design team has ensured that this space has been used efficiently – particularly in the full-beam owner’s cabin, which also benefits from large windows and overhead details that give the impression of extra space.

Directly aft of the owner’s cabin is the galley, with a spacious saloon further aft. The space is neatly divided into a lounge area and dining table for up to ten guests, with bulkheads cinching the space.

The model has numerous al fresco living opportunities, with the yard making modifications to the stern area to include a well-appointed beach club. Unfolding terraces create additional space in the cockpit, while the transom area is fitted with a swim platform that allows direct access to the water.

Tender storage is found in the stern garage, but a starboard hatch leaves the swimming platform clear and uncluttered.

There are two sundeck configurations available for the Veloce 32 RPH, with options including shading the helm station, adding sunpad blocks or removing the dining area. Buyers can also choose whether or not to have a Jacuzzi fitted on the aft.

Michele Zorzenon, CEO of Vittoria Yachts, said that the concept for the Veloce was developed in just four short months and “originates from a eureka moment at the pier: combining speed with high-quality materials.”

Vittoria Yachts was born in 2020 as the superyacht division of Cantiere Navale Vittoria, a shipyard founded in 1927. It currently has two projects under construction.
