Benetti has announced that the 67-metre full custom superyacht Calex will make its world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2023, which takes place from 23 to 26 March.
Calex was delivered in the spring 2022 to her Californian owner, and this is the first time the tailor-made superyacht is presented to the public. Her exterior design is by Cassetta Yacht Designers , while her interiors are by Benetti’s in-house studio.
Spanning four decks, the steel and aluminium superstructure is cavernous with 1,249 GT of interior volume. Her design is said to reflect her “owner’s personality and desires without losing the references to Benetti tradition that make the brand’s yachts unique and timeless”.
Visitors will discover a great synergy and flow between Calex’s interior and exterior spaces, and the commitment made to space. At the owner’s request, Calex has an abundance of room for wellness, convivial living and absolute privacy.
Calex offers accommodation for as many as 14 guests across seven well-appointed staterooms. She can also host 17 crew. A key characteristic is her 160 square-metre-plus exclusive upper deck, which offers her owner complete outdoor privacy. Calex also has a sun deck with a gym and Jacuzzi.
Calex is equipped with twin MTU engines and her engine room is “Benetti’s first on a full custom yacht this size to fully comply with TIER III regulations thanks to a scrubbing system for the exhaust gases from both the propulsion and generating systems”.
